Welcome to BNI Bath Abbey The Bath Abbey Chapter of BNI meets every Tuesday at 06:45 at Bar HaHa! in Bath for fun, informal and friendly business networking. It's a great way to develop your business as well as to meet new people, expand your friendship group and gain advice and expertise. "I think for any new business setting up in Bath Abbey BNI would be essential. Not only is there the passing on of information and referrals, there are the 121's, the weekly 10 minutes by a member of the chapter, there is also the camaraderie, the help and assistance from all the other members. I really looked forward to going along on a Tuesday morning, especially in the first few months that I started the business and after the meeting I always felt more positive and more motivated. I also think that knowing there was a group of people who knew exactly what you were going through is of enormous benefit." BNI stands for Business Networking International, which since its inception in 1985 has grown to be the largest organisations of its type, with over 5,000 chapters across the globe. Each chapter allows only one business of each type to join, thereby freezing out your competitors. BNI’s philosophy is ‘Giver's Gain’, which means that the more you invest in a business relationship, the more you can expect to reap from it.
